Help Us Warm Hearts This Winter
Winter is the most dangerous time of year for people experiencing homelessness. As freezing temperatures, heavy rain, and long nights set in, thousands of people across the UK are forced to face the cold without warm clothing, shelter, or basic essentials.
For someone sleeping rough, even a single cold night can be life-threatening. Warm layers, clean clothing, and simple hygiene items are not luxuries — they are essential for health, dignity, and survival.
This winter, Hand on Heart is preparing once again to distribute vital supplies across 15+ locations nationwide, ensuring individuals have access to warmth and basic necessities during the coldest months of the year.
What We Provide
Each Winter Warmer Pack is thoughtfully assembled to protect against the cold and support daily wellbeing. Packs typically include:

Toothbrush and toothpaste
Alongside pre-packed items, our pick-and-mix stations allow guests to choose additional clothing and toiletries, ensuring support is tailored to individual needs and circumstances.

What We Need
Our goal for Winter 2026 is to provide 1,500 Winter Warmer Packs, distributed safely and with dignity.
