2025 Summer Homeless Campaign
As temperatures rise, the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness don’t go away—they change. This summer, Hand on Heart, in partnership with BCT, is launching a Summer Homeless Campaign to provide essential clothing and hygiene packs to rough sleepers and those in temporary accommodation.
With the ongoing cost of living crisis and a sharp rise in homelessness, even basic items are out of reach for many. That’s why we aim to distribute 1,300 Summer Essential Packs filled with warm-weather clothing, hygiene products, and personal care items to help individuals stay healthy, dignified, and comfortable in the heat.
How You Can Help
We can’t do this without you. Here’s how you can get involved:

£60 supports three rough sleepers or vulnerable individuals with clean clothing and hygiene essentials
Volunteer
Join us at our Harefield sessions to help pack drawstring bags or sort goods at our pick-and-mix crates. We welcome:

What’s in a Summer Essential Pack?
Each drawstring bag contains carefully chosen items to support hygiene, health, and comfort:

Light t-shirt or polo shirt

Socks and underwear

Baseball caps

Deodorant, wet wipes & sun cream
-
Goods360 Hygiene Kit:
2-in-1 body wash/shampoo, conditioner, lotion, oral care kit, socks, face cream, sleep mask, ear plugs, chapstick, pen, comb
We also offer pick-and-mix stations, allowing guests to choose extra toiletries or clothing to suit their individual needs.
